Summer Fun

What a fun summer this has been. Aiden spent time at the beach, pool, and playground. He took an 8-hr car ride to North Carolina to spend an extended weekend with his grandparents. Aiden also had a chance to experience his 1st boat ride around the Inner Harbor, his 1st bus trip to NYC, his 1st subway ride while in the Big Apple, and his 1st sporting event to see the Orioles play. Aiden viewed the game from the club seats and received a certificate for it being his first ball game.

Overall, this summer has been great and it ended with Aiden's cousin Scarlett coming home from the hospital. We are all so excited about her being home. Aiden is so excited, he started walking one day after she came home. We thank God for continuing to watch over our household and blessing both Scarlett and Aiden.

Aiden's 1st Birthday Party

For those of you that attended Aiden's 1st birthday party can probably all agree that Aiden's party was great!! Almost everyday leading up to the party the weather man was calling for rain, but we ended up having a beautiful sunny day. The energy at the party was great and best of all the kids and their parents also had fun. The menu consisted of everything from marinara stuffed mozzarella sticks to large crabs from Solomon’s Island to some burnt chili dogs and meatballs. Other food items we had were bbq and baked chicken, slaw, potato salad, tortellini's, spinach dip and the kids’ favorite… fudge and strawberry sundaes topped with all the trimmings and Winnie the Pooh cake on the side. Aiden also had two cakes all to himself that mommy and daddy helped him eat ;-). If you missed it, it was by far one of the best kid's birthday parties in 2010! Stay tuned for round 2, we are already talking about next year!! A big thank you to his GG and Pop-Pop Gene for opening up their house to everyone and helping to make Aiden’s 1st party memorable. We love you.

Party Time!!

We can hardly believe that our baby boy will be ONE in five days!!! Wow how time flies. Since my last post I can officially say that Aiden does not fit 12 months clothes too well, depending on the brand; thus, please get him 18 months+ or bring the gift receipt so we can exchange for a larger size.

We cannot wait to see everyone at his birthday party. Bring your lawn chairs, your sun glasses, and your appetite and come have some fun. See you soon.

Wow, its been a while. Aiden has been keeping us busy ;). He is moving all over the place. He can crawl and pull up on his on. He has great balance while sitting and standing. Since the last time I blogged, Aiden cousin, Scarlett, was born. Check out Scarlett's blog at scarlettholt.blogspot.com. Overall God has been great to all of us, and in 2.5 weeks we will be celebrating Aiden's first birthday. His birthday party will be held on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 1:30p.m. in Lusby, MD.

February 2010 Winter Snow Storm

Aiden's first winter will be one to remember. Not only because of the record snow accumulation, but also because of all of his milestones. Aiden can successfully sit up on his own for long periods of time, flip out his swing and land on his knees, walk forward and backward in his walker, and drink out of a sippy cup. Aiden also have two teeth showing from his bottom gums. He is developing very well.
